OttOmobile is much the same as GTS, two more new additions are coming 2nd quarter. The feature is the 1:18 Alpine A110 Berlinette in Metallic Blue. The second is the 1:18 Talbot Horizon Premium in Silver. We have no idea what the ‘Talbot Horizon Premium’ is. Someone explain the history behind this hatch-back and the need for it in scale?
Product# TBD
The Horizon was sold in NA as the Dodge Omni and Plymouth Horizon – even though it seems the body panels were all different. Carroll Shelby was involved in the Yankee versions. Another ‘very French’ subject from French Company Ottomobile! There must be a 100 more deserving subjects than this……
Thank you. I agree with you comments too!
Yes! If you’re going to do Talbot, at least do the Talbot Lago – one of the most beautifully sculptured cars of all time.
Otto’s subjects are typically models that otherwise would not get mass produced by other manufacturers and sometimes subjects that hardly get any love at all. That Chrysler-France/Talbot/Dodge/Plymouth P.O.S. falls into the second category. The Alpine is very nice but a similar diecast version done by Kyosho can still be found.
I think they made a big mistake with the added comment. These singel headlights are A108 models, this can’t be an A110!
