PHOTO GALLERY: AUTOart Lamborghini Centenario – Clear Carbon

The AUTOart Lamborghini Centenario in clear carbon is definitely one of those it models for 2019. And from a collector perspective, 2019 has been quite dull and boring, to say the least.  One bright spot is this model from AUTOart.  And in our opinion is the finish that everyone should be looking to add, as this will definitely be one of those highly sought-after collectors’ pieces.  We’ve already added it to the DiecastSociety.com 2019 Model of the Year contender list.

As for the model itself, we actually reviewed it in detail back in March of this year.  It was the first official release in Blue Cepheus/Pearl Blue.  Click HERE to read the review in full.  As for the fit and finish, that example is flawless for front to rear.  Shutlines and panel gaps are excellent too.  As for the elephant in the room, the carbon fibre clear coat is excellent.  Now, does it mirror the original 100%, no, however in our opinion it damn good!  As for the carbon weave, it definitely isn’t to scale, slight large.  Is this limitation of scale representation, possibly?  But then we need to look at other examples of carbon weave from other manufactures in scale, are they better?  This is a subjective question.

We still believe the AUTOart 1:18 Lamborghini Centenario is the best example in scale to date.  Factor in all the variables from all available brands, AUTOart comes out on top.  Is this the finish to get, ABSOLUTELY!  We love to hear from you.  Please share your thoughts on the latest offering from AUTOart.  Enjoy the pics!

Bonjour DS TEAM, une question, le fini carbon peut-il ce décoller avec le temps ou c`est tres résistant ? Je vous li tout les jours, je suis un grand fan de Diecast Society. Pierre

Thank you for the great video review and pictures!
I think this model is wonderful, really. Probably the best from AutoArt for the last few years. (Though personally I am not interested in this model.)
In my opinion, this clear carbon color perfectly fits the car, whereas the car’s cocked ass looks ugly in other colors.
