PHOTO GALLERY: AUTOart Koenigsegg One:1 – Clear Carbon Fibre

The 1:18 AUTOart Koenigsegg One:1 in Clear Carbon Fibre came across our desk, so why not take a few photos.  It seems every time we feature a supercar it seems to raise a few eyebrows of interest.  Nothing really new about the latest effort here from AUTOart other than a rare and unique full carbon fibre exterior.  This also makes the price point a little higher than the painted variety.  You can read part one or part two of our in-depth review back from 2018, there is also an alternative exterior colour within the Photo Gallery link – Matt Blue.  Learn what we liked and did not like…

As for the model, the exterior carbon fibre does provide a mid to low gloss finish.  Overall we think it looks great!  The model seems to excel in person more than through images.  The Gold accents are a great touch and this extends to the brake calipers.  The combo here is reminiscent of a one-off customer order, he or she cycling through the plethora of options and settling on a subtle, but yet, uber-cool and sinister design. A true collector piece.  And long term, we believe one of those signature pieces and highly sought after gems.  Enjoy the pics!

The oversized carbon fiber weave on body panels and the molded carbon plastic for the wheels still shock me. But other that that it is a great piece.

Yes, agreed on the exterior pattern, it’s not perfect. As for the wheels, we’ll give them a pass, as per Koenigsegg’s own proprietary manufacturing process it is close.

    Hi,
I have a little big Problem with the one:1(all of them from Autoart)! Where is the Ghost!!! Normally the ghost sits on between the seats in the real car! But on the Modelcar isn‘t there! The normal Agera had the ghost (on the back Hood) and the ccx had it too! Why not on the one:1! A Car for much much Money!

  3. Aaron says:

I just wish Autoart would do the AGERA “R” w/Turbine wheel rims. Then I’d be satisfied

  4. Hector Gonzalez says:

Without doubt, the ugliest super car ever built…only redeeming feature being the door opening action. Never understood the desire to own an ugly Koenigsegg. I am more than happy with my Lamborghini Miura S and Ferrari 512BB…real supercars.

    • DS Team says:

Two different eras of cars. We have to disagree. Ugly is a strong word, but we’re all entitled to voice opinions.

    • Isaac D. says:

Koenigseggs might not be the best looking supercars but they definitely aren’t ugly, I find them unique and exotic. Now to compare a classic supercar against a modern supercar is kind of dumb.

It´s pretty pointless to discuss the real cars´design on a model website. If I don´t care about the real thing, I don´t care to look into it in model form. Period.
I don´t blame anyone for having a different theme for the hobby and collect different models from what I collect. That´s fine.
But I suspect there´s a reason why Koenigsegg models exist and Nissan Micras don´t.

  6. Karsten says:

OMG, just found out, the Micras DO exist in 1/18. So here we go, there´s something for everyone.
