It is nice to see manufacturers dipping back into the vault of past successes and re-issuing new production runs on retired classics. One, which was announced by Kyosho in late 2019 is the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione II. This example is completed in diecast metal with 360 access and completed in 1:18 scale. The Lancia Delta HF Integrale is a timeless design in our opinion. And we think most will agree! If you missed the first batch, which we believe was 15+ years ago here’s your chance to move away from a static example.
As for the model we present two colours Red and White. As stated, a diecast metal exterior with full 360 access is appliable here. Even the rear compartment shares a spare tire that is removable. We still admire this innovation from the original release. Speaking of the original, the differences between the new and past specimen is minimal from what we gather. In the latest issue, the engine compartment is missing the OEM badge. Also, the undercarriage is almost there, just some of the appliable drivetrain elements do not receive colour/paint as found on the original release. That aside the latest re-release version is on par. Interior wise we still love the textured seats, again one of the many strong points from years past. If we had one complaint, the upper cooling grille work on the hood is still executed with simple decals, though the latest is slightly better.
