Runner 1:18 Ferrari F50!

There’s a new brand in town, well, one we just took notice of, they are called Runner!  We believe their initial model is the 1:18 Ferrari F50.  Four colours will be offered, they include Red, Pearl White, Silver and Ice Blue.  Interiors for all four will be Black.  What we do know about the model and package, you guessed it another resin and static replica.  Each piece will be accompanied by a base, nameplate and acrylic cover.  Retail, about $350 CND each.

RF50R01 – Red
RF50R03 – Pearl White
RF50R08 – Silver
RF50R06 – Ice Blue

Subject is great, model looks like an improved Maisto. And the price is plain ridiculous. When will someone make an affordable good looking F50?

    • Moti says:

i guess it’s depend on what affordable price is?

    • Jason says:

Honestly, I really enjoy collecting model cars ( I have around 160 models ), but it is just too expensive of a hobby now. I have an old Maisto F50 and have wanted a nicer F50 model for a while, but not at that price.

  2. SamtheCat says:

I’m still waiting for a manufacturer to really capture how the rear mesh on the car looks like. When you see the car in person, it’s like looking through a pantyhose, with the engine perfectly on sight. This one, as Patrick says, looks just like a lightly improved Maisto.

  3. Abbiraamn Ravindhran says:

That is just ridiculous for $350 CAD. But how does a new company out of nowhere ge the Ferrari license while Autoart in business for 20+ year license cannot. Just another overpriced unopening priceless garbage

    • Moti says:

i never heard Autoart want license for making Ferrari models only that collectors wish they do.

    • DS Team says:

LOL, BBR is $600+ We’re not stating its the same level of craftsmanship :)

      • Abbiraamn Ravindhran says:

BBR is more expensive but craftsmanship is equally higher and is considered a high end model. On the other hand, this model does not even have perforated grills on the rear end and no opening parts.

  4. Terence says:

Is the grille perforated? looks solid :/

  5. Giorgio262 says:

I don’t usually see pages dedicated to news about resin models with these many comments. Kind of speaks volumes about how much interest there would be around a Autoart\Almost Real\LCD\Kyosho quality 1:18 model of the F50. I know I’d like to have it. And it would need to be full access, with the possibility to switch between the closed top and the open configuration since that was one of the most significant feature of the F50 …and of course a high quality photo-etched correctly shaped mesh grille to admire the intricate structure of this car.

    • DS Team says:

Recently speaking with Kyosho they did hint they are “chasing” the Ferrari licence. Now we don’t know if that means the old stuff, new or both. Anything would be fantastic!

  6. . says:

Looks good but still an overpriced static model with little details. Waste of money I just hope someone will do justice and make a good 1:18 ferrari f50 besides bburaisto.
