Well this is very interesting. I wonder if the Mercedes Gullwing is all new tooling, or if it’s from Premium Classixxs

  2. Veneno says:

The windshield of the Speedster is too high, hope they address that before releasing it.

  3. ARNEart says:

Both, 300SL and Porsche 911/930, are old Premium Classixxs toolings. Turbo and Speedster were canceled but will now be presented under Schuco label. Pictures are showing handsamples.

    • MLB says:

Thanks for confirming what I thought about these being old Premium Classixxs tooling.

    • DS Team says:

      Can you connect with Schuco?

      • MLB says:

Everything except colors, steering wheel rim color, and lack of chrome trim rings on wheels looks identical to the Premium Classixxs models. And given that the Premium models were produced not too long ago, along with how involved and expensive it is to create tooling for a 1:12 diecast with everything opening, it only makes perfect sense that this is the same old tooling being used under a different name.

  4. Nick says:

Can someone let the Schuco people know that the Porsche 930 has a huge error? The rear wing is from the intercooled models (aka tea tray) but the engine is clearly from a non-intercooled model which has a smaller ‘whale tail’ wing. Anyone who has any familiarity with these cars will laugh at the error.

  5. ARNEart says:

As far as I know these are early handsamples based on the prototypes, Premium Classixxs designed before they stopped production. Wheels, engines, interior and whole chassis are parts from the former 911 Carrera 3.2.
In the final cars, this should be corrected.
