Five new models will be made available from Solido this month.  Executed in diecast metal with various opening bits, the price point and charm are sure to turn a few heads.  The feature finds the 1:18 Lancia Delta S4 – TABATON – Rally Principe Asturias 1986.  The remaining four include the  VolkswagneGold MKI 1983 in Blue,  Citroën Dyane Jaune Jonquille 1967, Citroën Traction Silver 1937 and  Porsche 911 RSR Tour Auto 1973

About the Lancia Delta S4…  “Fabrizion Tabaton is an Italian rally driver. Associated with Luciano Tedeschini, they flew by the 1986 rally season, driving a Lancia Delta S4. This Italian is a car specifically thought out to be engaged in competition. It meets the regulations of Group B, which, in the 80s, marked the history of road racing. 200 units of a civilian series were produced to meet the requirements of the FIA homologation. This model would add the Rally of Asturias to a long list of victories. The Delta S4 remains in the annals of history as a worthy heir to the legendary Stratos.”
