Another player in the sealed resin market is Soul Models. Their first upcoming release is the exciting and unusual 1:18 Ariel Atom V8. We believe a first in 1:18 scale! Soul Models is committed to “new or non-existent models”, hence the Ariel Atom. Each piece is hand made and hand painted. Though their initial sample pics look decent, the car does look somewhat toy-like in appearance. Let’s hope the final product improves and they stick to their guns, offering unique and non-existent specimens.

The model looks toy-like because the actual car is toy-like! Actually, it looks rather good.
Totally disagree, 1:1 is far from toy-like IMO. Head over to their website and review the close-up images, your opinion will change. Let’s hope the prototype evolves into some good!
promising brand!
I’d say that gain…
A breath of fresh air from the overload of Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s. I’ll be watching this one, because it would fit in my collection perfectly.
Would fit nice next to AA BAC Mono
Yes if Aa drops the price and brings out brighter colors. I am fed up with white, black and grey.
Just read on their website it will be 169 euros plus tax. I suppose that’s vat within Europe (around 20%).
yes, I guess models of theirs will cost between 200,- and 250,- incl vat.
I hope they bring out many nice models and that they succeed on the market.
This Atom V8, Autoart BAC and a KTM Xbow from somewhere would be an absolute treat..
I like it, I was actually in the process of making my own atom. even made a prototype 3-d printed frame.
this thing looks really nice, hope they keep up on the quality and hope it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg considering its resin(like the gt spirit models).
An hour ago I received mine, no. 749. I found it completely smashed up inside the box. The model had broken away from its studs and while bouncing around in the box all major parts broke off.
Anyone know where did Soul Models go? I got this Atom, I like it and I was wondering if they did something else…
They are no longer producing models. Truly a shame, their initial effort was quite good and the subject was a great choice too!
