Sun Star 2018 Catalogue

It’s that time of year we start to present the latest 2018 footprint from the major brands.  The first manufacturer to the show is the team from Sun Star.  Looks like the focus will continue with Japanese car culture in both 1:18 and 1:43 scale. The likes of the 2013 Subaru BRZ, 2013 Subaru Forester 2.0XT, 2014 Subaru XV, 2015 Subaru Outback, and 2016 Subaru Legacy will make it to scale.

You can visit Sun Star at the upcoming Nuremburg Toy Fair, they will be located at the Nuremburg Hall-7 A-68.  Come by and say hello!

Damn, SunStar now got me emotional. I know their Camaro is bad, I’ve told it here many times, and still the owner of red Z28 model from their first run… And now they show this black/gold one, which is exactly the look of that Camaro that I saw when I was a kid, it was parked near school, and had no badges. In Russia they were very rare (and nowadays nearly impossible to find, there are more Lambos and Bentleys than those), but back then it was love at first sight.
    Guess I’ll be getting one.

    The link is broken

    They’re going full Subaru mode!
Hope that thing with the passenger doors is not going to reach the others, but that’s probably a lost cause anyways. Great they give the brand more visibility!

That’s because they have already made these model for Subaru in China for the dealers. EVERYTHING opens on those.. Look up the models as Subaru Dealer on ebay and you will see all of these models. I’m glad that they are doing them as I can now buy from Europe.

I like those american cars in the Platinum Series, but I’d love to see some 4 door versions of them or even wagons. Those are very rare in this scale.

I had contacted Sun-Star about the BRZ that they were going to produce and one of their employees informed me that they decided to cancel it because autoart already makes a 1/18 BRZ.
