Sun Star DeLorean “Back to the Future” Part I w/ McFly Figure

Sun Star is bringing back one of their classics models, the 1:18 DeLorean in Stainless Steel as featured in the movie “Back to the Future” Part I.  This time the package will include a Marty McFly figurine, how cool!  This combo will go on sale later this year, December we are told.  Mark your calendars!

Figurines are cool, but I dislike re-releasing the same models with just a new figurine packaged. This also goes for Greenlight. I’d really like to have some of them (for example Sam & Dean from Supernatural or in this case Marty McFly), but if I already own the car model there is no way to buy them individually, which is really sad.

We disagree… This allows new fans to add a great replica at a decent price. This is one of Sun Star’s better pieces.

IMO SunStar have the best Back to the Future time machine DeLorean. Of course, AA’s regular DeLorean is in a different league. Pity only for those who already have the model and would now want the figurine only. But, as I said, for them there are other options.

That’s not what I meant, I should have probably worded it better.

What I mean is, there is no way for people like me to buy those figurines WITHOUT also buying the actual car model a second time. I wish they would release the set as pictured here and have the option to only buy the figurine for 15$ or so.

SS could take the front lights from their “Iroc-Z” Camaro (sorry, cannot take it seriously), at least there is a step up from those frog eyed lights.
Speaking of which, if somebody happens to have broken AutoArt’s Delorean and selling off the spares, I gotta need those lights for my project.

Great, now someone make a 1:18 1985 Toyota Truck as well!

  4. Karsten says:

The figurine is well done. Usually the best figurines are made by Scale Figures. They too have a Marty McFly + Doc Brown set for your DeLorean. They’re not cheap but usually way better than most competitors. I particularly admire how the replicate glasses, a good example of which is Horacio Pagani and Sir William Lyons.

    Hello,

The combo is available? Do you know from where can I buy i?

    Thanks
