New from Sun Star are some new colours and livery for popular classics. First off we’ll start with the 1:12 1961 Volkswagen Beetle Saloon. The Pastel Blue colour is looking great on the Beetle exterior. Lot’s of detail and goodies too. Sun Star’s Classic Rally series grows by two, new additions in 1:18 scale include Lancia Stratos HF #1 – 2nd Rallye Monte-Carlo 1980, drivers B.Darniche/A.Mahé – a limited edition of 999. The second is 1:18 Lancia Stratos HF #2 – Winner 1979 Rallye Sanremo, drivers Tony/M.Mannini – a limited edition of 3000 pieces.

Nice to see Sun Star is still making opening diecast cars… That Beetle looks pretty good with nice details, these guys look like they’re stepping up instead of reducing themselves to closed resin models… More power to them! Can’t wait to see their new Camaro IROC-Z!!
