Tarmac Works, a Hong Kong based manufacturer is getting some heat, and rightly so. At first, our team thought this was a typo, but it is in fact true. Tarmac is offering some limited numbers (999 units isn’t truly limited in this hobby) 1:64 scale pieces at terrific saving $140US each with some coming in at $170US! Are you kidding me!
It seems we’re not the only ones venting frustration, their media vehicles are differently feeling the backlash from the 1:64 scale community and this is one group you don’t want to mess with! We love the passion ladies and gentlemen, stand together and vote with your wallets. This is definitely a ridiculous marketing squeeze that just doesn’t justify the juice!
That’s HK dollars. The prices haven’t changed.
