As some may already know, earlier this year the team at TopSpeed updated their model bases to the new style base – the latter allowing collectors to add/lock a display cover.  Well customers who purchased the 1st generation models (TS0001-TS0006) have the option of requesting the new generation base for free!  Terms and conditions do apply.  Please read the official press release for complete details.

“Dear Collectors,

TopSpeed-Model would like to announce plans to provide customers that have purchased our 1st Generation models (TS0001-TS0006) the option to request our new generation TopSpeed base free of charge.*

Collectors that have purchased the 1st generation TopSpeed models have this rare opportunity to request new bases which are only compatible with the new acrylic covers (TSAC01) that we plan to release shortly. The new generation TopSpeed base is smaller overall than the 1st generation base, which will easily make your model fit as the centerpiece in any collection.

Due to the interest of many collectors, it has been decided that we will offer our customers the base for free, with customers only responsible for paying the shipping and handling costs for this special item. The requirements for a free new generation base is to simply provide proof of model purchase (store receipt or online receipt) along with your contact and shipping information. We will calculate your shipping and handling cost and once we confirm your total we will then ship your free base. Please note that the complimentary bases in this promotion do not come with holes pre-drilled, so they are designed for displaying your model only without attaching it directly to the base.

*Please note that collectors who receive the new base may drill holes at their own discretion in order to secure their models to the platform but the collector is fully liable if damage to base or model occurs.

* Currently estimate of shipping the free bases starts at 3rd week of December 2016. We will keep updates if there’s any change.
