It’s only been a short time since the tuner craze officially took over the scale model community.  Well, to fuel the fire even more, the team at TrueScale Miniatures is launching a new series call series called “Velocity”.  The key focus is circled around tuner cars, and the primary scale is 1:43.  We have to sneak peek at some of the official merchandise, there is more to come.  We shared the official TSM press release below.

“TSM-Models is excited to announce the 1:43 Velocity Series; a brand new model collection focused exclusively on 1:43 tuner cars from well-known manufacturers. Tuning and modifying cars to increase performance has long been a part of car culture, and we want to celebrate this as we expand our diverse range of models even farther. Some of the first releases in this series will include aftermarket versions of the Honda Civic Type R (FK8) and LB-Silhouette WORKS GT NISSAN 35GT-RR based on the Nissan GT-R R35. These are just the first models to be released in this series, and we look forward to applying the full extent of our race car knowledge to capture the spirit of these highly-tuned performance cars.

While our first phase of this launch will focus on the Asia market, we look forward to bringing these cars to tuner enthusiasts worldwide in the months to come. Please stay tuned for additional information in the coming weeks.”
