ACME Expands Classic Mustang Series

As the title states, ACME is adding to their 1:18 scale Mustang assortment with three new entries.  We have pre=production samples photos of one, it is the 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fast Back Street Fighter “Bullet” car.  Love that engine detail!   The production example is set to arrive in early 2002.  There is also the 1:18 scale 1968 Shelby GT500 KR “King of the Road” and 1968 Shelby GT500 KR “Restomod New School”.  Both are limited to 750 pieces each with delivery set for March 2022.

The picture is a 1969 Mustang.

I like the look oftheir “street fighter” models. What I don’t like is that they seem to have brake rotors and calipers in one piece and they rotate with the wheels, so you end up with brake calipers in weird positions.

I’m quite liking the silver-red one, there is still a few for sale here, and i’m still considering getting it. And the modern rims fit that one quite well. But not gonna lie, i’m getting tired of those rims on each their release lately.
Also, i wonder why they don’t release ex-Lane GT350 that often, if i remember Acme released only 2 ones, brittany blue in a very limited number and a black one.
