First of all, this is a cool model.

Although Greenlight is already the parent company of ACME, I’d like to see them follow the Greenlight business model of making different variations of the molds that they have. They’ve been recycling and repackaging stuff for years. Some of these molds are over 10 years old and just have been repackaged.

Instead of making a 1971 Challenger, why not change the headlight/tail-lights (which shouldn’t cost as much as coming up with a brand new mold) and making a 1973 Dodge Challenger. Or instead of making just a 1974 Chevy van, change the headlights, tail-lights and bumpers and make a 1993 Chevy G-10 van or something! Seems like a decent way to differentiate their product line in a way that doesn’t harm their bottom line as much with regards to R&D.

Yes! This is a great suggestion! Greenlight actually dabbed into this with the Fast & Furious black and gray 1972 Cuda. They made new molds for different parts of th car , such as the front and rear ends of the car. They could make more variants with their other molds too. AutoWorld has tooled an RS package for their pretty good 1967 Camaro. So I’m gessing they’re catching on to this already. I’m hoping Greenlight also makes good with their new square body GMC pickups and make Chevy versions, short box and step side trucks 2 wheel drive and 4X4s. A lot of potential versions as this generation lasted from 1973 thru 1987!
