As reported last month, the TOP Marques Spyker C8 Aileron is coming. There is an additional colour just announced, the latest is Orange. It must be said, the Spyker C8 Aileron isn’t the prettiest car, and definitely something only a mother could love.

Actually, I don’t mind it at all. Only this is something Autoart should’ve done in 1/18 and w/opening parts naturally. So until a diecast manufacturer makes any Spyker in 1/18 w/opening parts, you’d be right: this is a car only a mother could love
To niche for AUTOart. If the car appeals to you, and you think TM did a decent job get one, it may never be seen in 1:18 scale again.
I was very surprised to find one of these cars (in silver) on the showroom floor of my local Ferrari dealer some years back. In person the car is actually quite compact. Much smaller than I expected. And altho in person it looked kinda cool, it still presented that feeling that it was more of a home project by a very skilled craftsman than a high priced production vehicle.
I share Aaron’s sentiment tho, that if AA or someone else makes this with openable panels in diecast, I may add it to my collection of oddballs, but I’ll pass on the resin.
