Almost Real, is almost real with their 2017 edition catalogue. The assortment is plenty, but the question remains, will we ever see these ideas come to life in actual production models? It’s a shame they aren’t doing any of the race cars in 1/18 – there really is little option outside resins for anyone who collects modern race cars. And they need to sort out whatever issue is stopping them making Land Rovers in RHD!

I’m not impressed. Apart from the Defenders, it’s more of the same again. But why try something new if you can copy someone elses work. The only thing that might be interesting is to see if they can actually do a good job on the Mercedes Maybach, there where AA so miserably failed.
WOW Moondawn, I can appreciate hi standards, but in a world of diminishing diecast as opposed to resin I must be grateful for any offering that shows promise……..I actually saw the Bentley for sale the fast back sport model whose assignation of model number has slipped my aging mind. The point is, that the price on that particular car had was a very reasonable number for what appeared to be a nicely detailed piece for under $150.00…..I’m hoping that’s not just an introductory price , a come on as it were, because the many pics showed a car worth more , or so it seemed in 2 dimensions . I for one aren’t looking for a miracle , but a decent model ,for a fair price and , a new company to make them and others would be for me reassuring !!
