About a year ago I acquired Norev’s Maybach in this color scheme, with the same style wheels. It’s a beautiful model. I’m sure that this one won’t disappoint.

I skipped your comparison when it was published, but I have just read it. The level of your research, and the depth to which you go to compare these two models is indeed impressive. The Almost Real is clearly superior, but at $229 at the sponsor’s site it’s roughly 40% more expensive than what I paid for the Norev a year ago. Looking at eBay listings today, the price gap between the two seems to have closed somewhat however. I enjoy your reviews and I look forward to more of them.

I love the blue, but the silver drowns out the chrome too much IMO. I have added the one colour patagonia red to the rubellite red on kalahari-gold bicolor reviewed here earlier, though. So I don ´t add a third color.
But anyone who did not like the red tones at all and found black on silver or white too much contrast, this might be the answer.
Whatever color(s), it´s a great model for our upcoming MOTY´23 polls!
