I can understand the price. It’s a very decent looking model, but I do wish it was openable

  2. Dave G says:

Never seen a car finish Le Mans with such crisp wheels and tires. Nice that they cleaned up the rear bare chassis before ending the race. $1100?? What would they charge for an actually good model??

  3. Luis Cantu says:

Nice, but I prefer my Autoart with 360 full access. Sorry it’s not available nowadays

  4. Ilka says:

Shame that such iconic car was missed by Exoto or CMC.
Autoart’s execution on that one is quite basic, i have to say.

  5. Robert says:

Exoto would have done this right. They would have charged a little less and have all kinds of opening parts, rotating and posable front wheels.

    • CHALL says:

Yeah, if Exoto had made this, we would have seen full opening body, great engine detail and removable wheels. Knowing Exoto, they’d put in a ton of chassis detail and offer to sell you one model alongside a rolling chassis.

    • Roger Lodge says:

I wish a new brand would attempt to fill in the gap left by Exoto. Of course there’s still CMC, but this only gives us so many premium cars.

As far as Amalgam, they’re good for a laugh every now and then.

  6. MLB says:

Ridiculous. And as Dave G. mentioned about the wheels, tires, & rear chassis….I’ll also add that the windshield is showroom new spotless as are the door windows, which of course they never were after a race! Once again, another half baked and over priced model.

1100$ for a sealed brick is a bargon!
