Auto World New 1:18 Buick GSX (MCACN) 1972

This unicron from Auto World features the 1:18 Buick GSX (MCACN) 1972, a limited edition car of 44 back in the day.  In addition to the metal exterior side, this model does provide access to the internal bits.  All at a decent price.  This model will hit shelves later this month!

About the Buick GSX (MCACN)…  “The 1972 Buick GSX is a muscle car lover’s dream, with only 44 units made that year. With production numbers this low, owning the real car is a privilege only known by a handful of enthusiasts. But fear not, Auto World has replicated one of these rare ‘72 GSXs with newly-tooled components allowing you to finally take home one of these unicorns.  Mike Sobotka has been the proud owner of this jaw-dropping GSX since 2007 and showcased it at Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals. It was restored by Adam Martin who brought back its original glory in a striking Fire Red body. The GSX was a special package that could be added, giving it a unique look and performance. The package included ultra-wide black hood stripes, black side stripes, dual air scoops, a blacked-out grille, front and rear spoilers and GSX monograms on the rear fenders and spoiler. Out of the 44 GSX units produced only 2 possess a Stage 1 455-cu.in. V-8 engine mated to a four-speed manual transmission. This was a very powerful upgrade option for that year making it an extremely rare find.”
