Fans of race livery may appreciate the new model from AUTOart’s composite series, the 1:18 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Bathurst 12HRS 2015 #99. The highly anticipated Firesand Metallic Orange Jaguar F-Type R Coupe has finally been revealed. Something is miss, the colour seems flat, the punch of metallic is missing based on images we found online. We’ll say it again, is it the composite material playing a part is the paint finish, we think so. Also for a Type R version the wheels offered by AUTOart fall short. They’ve become toys. What a shame.
The engine compartment of that F-Type (particularly the orange parts) looks terrible, as does the door lining.
If you’re going to do nasty, do cheap as well, AUTOart.
