AUTOart New Production Images

We have more images to share of the upcoming AUTOart 1:18 assortment.  The feature finds the stunning Ford GT 2017 in Liquid Blue.  Near perfect, what we’re missing are the White or Grey stripes!  Must be a licensing thing…  The remaining three feature the Aston Martin Vulcan in Madagascar Orange, in our opinion the it colour to get.  The Apple Tree Green Metallic makes an appearance too.   Finally, we have the first look at the Ford Focus RS 2016 in Stealth Grey.  The colour here seems a little off, no?  This one retails for $269 CND.

They probably went for the first show car look with the Ford GT. AFAIK it was first presented in a simple liquid blue without any stripes, just like it is presented by AutoArt here.

I mentioned elsewhere it looks like the Focus is Magnetic Grey, not Stealth Grey. I guess someone at AA got confused!

I’m not convinced by their attempt at Madagascar Orange on the Vulcan either. The real colour has a slightly pearlescent look, and seems to be closer to yellow when the light hits it. Maybe it’s just the AA press photos, I’ll wait for people to buy it before deciding on orange or green. I love the matte black/lime version but can’t justify buying fantasy colours.

I must say the Ford does look amazing in this blue color!
But I’m not going to add one more plastic model to my collection.
Also I had mentioned week engine details before – well, I was not precise that actually I meant the front part that looks pretty toy-like in this model (according to the photos). You can compare it with e.g. video review by Doug DeMuro – the time mark of 9:20 of his 2017 Ford GT review and the time mark of 15:30 of his 2019 Ford GT review shows quite a lot of details under the front hood.
