AUTOart New Productions Models: Aston Martin, Jaguar & Ford!

** UPDATE ** We added production images of the 1:18 Lamborghini Centenario Roadster in Verde Scandal/Solid Light Green and the Bugatti Chiron 2017 in Juane Molsheim Yellow/Nocturne Black.  Honestly, the least favourite of all the colours to date for both cars.

AUTOart lifts the covers off more upcoming models, in fact, these should be on shelves in July, August for us folk in North America.  The feature spot goes to the delicious 1:18 Aston Martin DB11 in Frosted Glass Blue.  We also have the 1:18 Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang in Oxford White w/Lighting Blue stripes – full review to come shortly.  Finally a new colour for 1:18 Jaguar Lightweight E-Type, it is noted as Dark Grey.  Enjoy!

I’ve pre-ordered the blue DB11, again with a premium on this Q colour over other colours.

  2. Richard says:

Autoart please F*** off with your pathetic composite trash!

  3. NERO says:

We prefer metal to composite YES. Composite makes the car look wrong?? NOPE.

Autoart still being one of the best options.. Still making appealing models after all..

Any other option to buy this models??

    Then Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it´s BORING.

I held out on giving my opinion on the autoart plastic models until I was able to see them in person.

IMO the paint and build quality is lower than their diecast models.

Colors also look off on plastic models. One of the ones I saw in person was the Lamborghini Centenario. It looks and feels like a toy. There is something off about it, they mold the front end, especially the headlights wrong.

I have many diecast Autoart models, and it’s sad to see that they’ve switched over to plastic as models like the Nissan R390 (gloss white) and the 911 GT1 are masterpieces.

Good thing we have companies like Almost Real popping up, and GT Spirit is also moving to diecast models with opening parts.

With those colors, the Bugatti and Lamborghini look like they fell out of a bag of Skittles.

Now that Aston is a real beauty… might have to pre-order that like my friend Karsten.

  5. Michael L Rogers says:

They really didn’t pick the most attractive colors for the Aston Martin DB11 if they were going to do this…they should have picked a better wheel package. These do not translate well to me at all.

    • Atalante says:

Agree. Don’t see what’s attractive in this Aston. Wrong color, wrong wheel spec and the model itself doesn’t look up there with the previous Vantage S. Pass.

  6. flathead says:

That DB11 in light blue looks stunning, but the tailpipes and engine look uber-plastiky.
