  3. Karsten says:

Seems as if I (unfortunately) wasn´t wrong after all: All the models I am interrested in from AUTOart will be plastic from now on. It is with mixed feelings that i will buy a P1 and a Huracan as we wave goodbye to AUTOart diecast.

  4. Edib says:

so these new composite series models are plastic with opening parts?

  5. Jay says:

Any info on when the p1 will be released?

  6. 911AMG says:

So your telling me that these “new models” are plastic & not like the previous ones we have all purchased from Autoart??? How is this possible , Are they cutting costs? Again, this is a DIECAST industry is it not? What’s going on here, first its Resin & now this…. WOW, I really hope this doesn’t turn out like I think it will. I am VERY INTERESTED in a handful of their new announcements but not in plastic. They have to be at least the quality of their other DIECAST Models I have purchased before. I am waiting for the quality to get better & better not cheaper & cheaper…. I can’t wait for the Mercedes Benz G63 AMG ever since I saw it on Top Gear & I’ve been waiting for a Mclaren P1 in 1:18 as well. I guess they will ruin their product just like everyone has in all other industry as well. What a shame if this is noticeable in quality. I don’t want to go back to baseball cards D@mn it….

  7. 911AMG says:

Thanks guys I understand a little better now. Bring it & let’s see what they got in store for us. I just pray they know what they are doing & quality at least stays the same if not better….

  8. Kevin says:

So, is it the body that is plastic or the interior bits? I’ve always wanted and AutoArt model but the prices are too much for me. The pictures of the Alfa 4C, BAC Mono, and the P1 are promising to me and I may be buying one. I will wait to see what the reviews are before purchasing.

  9. johnny says:

Any news on the MCLAREN P1 release date?

  10. Lausambaychua says:

The only car on this list that I’ll purchase without a second thought is a Lancia Delta S4, preferably red, but grey is OK. And luckily, none of my favorites bore the Signature Composite brand, because they’re composite, yet they aren’t much cheaper compared to traditional diecast.
