BBR Confirms Pagani Utopia 1:18 & 1:43 Scale

High-end brand BBR confirms their replica of the new Pagani Utopia.  Both 1:18 and 1:43 sealed versions will be offered.  A full 360 access piece would have been an excellent option too.  No official word on the release date, but if we had to guess late 2023, or early 2024.

About the Pagani Utopia…  “Pagani Utopia is officially a reality. The third load-bearing project (after Zonda and Huayra) from the factory in San Cesario sul Panaro, the result of six years of design and development, was presented in Milan, in the setting of the Teatro Lirico.  Pagani Utopia’s source of inspiration is the great Italian racing tradition of the “golden period” of the 1950s and 1960s.  Compared to Pagani Zonda, the new Utopia loses its angular lines to embrace a considerably more sinuous development. And, unlike Huayra, it abandons sophisticated aerodynamic solutions (such as active rear elements). Pagani Utopia adopts a new air penetration study integrated into the car body. Thus, in addition to having been able to eliminate 20 percent of the body components, the new Pagani Utopia highlights a brand-new profile, for its part even more aerodynamically refined.”

There is ALWAYS a sealed resin model first, with Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani often by BBR and MR. Opening diecast metal versions will, as always, be 2 to 6 years later, a Pagani by Autoart, LCD, Almost Real. It is all very predictable.

    • DS Team says:

Likely so, we’re trying to help rewrite the narrative.

    • MRM says:

Right?! Like the Ferrari Daytona that Bburago already showed in production form. Or Maisto’s new Countach. Or the various Zondas, Motormax is making for over a decade now. I can’t think of how many resin Zonda Rs were ever made, before or after AA’s die cast one. I mean, I can go on and on with that list…

And it will be very predictable to see AutoArt’s Pagani Utopia with _grey_ or _dark grey_ interior! :)

    • MRM says:

And you know that AA actually does NOT have the final say on that, as the decision is actually made by the real car manufacturer, right?

      • Vitaliy D says:

Hmm… I can’t believe that Horacio Pagani voted for grey interior of his beloved Pagani Huayra.

        • MRM says:

Considering his personal cars, I can actually totally see it. Also you and I wouldn’t know the reasoning behind any of his decisions, which I am pretty sure have a lot more to do with issues not known to us.

I hope they opt for the exposed carbon with gold wheel version as well as the white presentation car.
