It’s that time of year again! It’s catalogue season!! The first entry is from Bburago. And if perfect form we have their standard and Ferrari 2024 catalogues to share. With the exception of the new 1:18 Ferrari 499P, not much new is on the horizon Ferrari-wise.

Last year I took the chance of a very convenient sale at CK modelcars and bought a Signature flat white SP3 Daytona. I’m glad to report that the return service provided by CK modelcars works very well.
The model had a few paint flaws, with particles stuck in the paint, an embarassingly large gap on the passenger door, and in front of the driver’s side rear wheel there was a 2\3 mm residue of a mould injection support (or whatever is the correct name for it) that was not removed or filed off, but just painted on.
I would’ve been embarassed if these flaws were on a toy I’d give to my little nephew as a gift.
I wanted to give their models a chance. Not anymore.
My Signature magma rossa SP3 Daytona looks great. I haven’t found anything wrong with so far. I was quite positively surprised by the model. Even thought of getting a white one with silver stripes.
Yes, this can be quite frustrating! Based on their 2-3 releases per year and their legacy, you would think their effort would be near flawless for a budget brand.
Whatever happened to their announcement of a signature series ➕️. Not that I was expecting anything worth getting excited about from them. Just continuing to show that the Ferrari license is better off with a more serious brand
That Signature+ turned out to be the Daytona SP3, which they released as regular Signature model. So I guess it was some kind of marketing nonsense
Too bad that Aston Martin F1 cars are not being made in metal 1/18. Granted I look forward to acquire the Ferrari 499P
That 499P is gorgeous 😍
Yes. Good effort for a budget brand. Though on average 2-3 new pieces per year definitely hurts!!
Do you know exactly when we can buy the 499? Thanks
Possibly Q2 2024.
Pues yo sigo pensando que no estan mal para su precio.
No pienso pagar las burradas de BBR por ejemplo.
Eso si,echo de menos el F8 Tributo,812 superfast,Roma,Portofino,F12 Tdf etc etc etc a 1:18
Yes, that is more than fine. Good value. But others want more, especially with the prancing horse badge. And not to mention speed to market.
Well done Bburago…new year…same old models with hardly anything new. What on earth are you doing Ferrari???????????????
