Give the Ferrari licence to anyone else…please!
I agree, Bburago just drag their heels while other companies are more agile. We as collectors long for a company like the good old days of Hot Wheels Elite Ferrari models.
We are stuck with Bburago, pretty fed up with their poor effort and slow output. What are the people at Ferrari doing?
Nothing, other than collecting the licencing cheques!
I would love if Bburago no longer have the Ferrari licence. Many options available for Ferrari…budget companies also. Bburago are just very poor, very slow and very annoying!
I quite enjoyed the Bburago Signature
I quite enjoyed the Bburago Signature Ferrari Daytona SP3, especially for the price. I think it’s the only opening diecast model. Hope this F80 is at least as good as the Daytona SP3
I have their Daytona SP3, and also think they did a pretty good job on it, especially at the budget cost.
So looks like they skipped the 1:18 Purosangue for this. I think Ferrari couldn’t care less about the budget end of the market since they’ve got more more than enough revenue from BBR, MR, Looksmart and Amalgam.
Isn’t Bburago going to make 1/18 GT3 Ferraris?
Ferrari 458 GT3, Ferrari 488 GT3, Ferrari 296 GT3.
FERRARI…COME BACK TO HOT WHEELS PLEASE.
I too have the Signature SP3 and like it … except to me it looks rather short and fat. Sadly, I’ve never seen the real thing to compare.
I totally agree with all the comments about the glacially slow delivery of new Ferrari models by Bburago, and especially the Signature range aimed at us collectors. The closed version of the SF90 came out ages ago, and I’ve only just seen the first Spider version offered on eBay .
It’s very frustrating, but at least the are fully opening diecast and reasonably priced.
Actually, Bburago have been pretty fast and quite thorough with their releases. Just not in 1:18. I personally think they are doing fantastic job for their purpose, which is to put the brand (Ferrari) in every household. You can see their 1:43 cars everywhere, including grocery stores now, just like the Ferrari F1 cars. And the 1:43 come in different levels. Their 1:24 prancing horse catalogue is quite impressive and they have a huge line of other toys. And all of it at extremely reasonable prices. 1:43 F1 cars in a nice case and packaging for 10 bucks! And available everywhere! Minichamps F1 cars are SEVEN TIMES that price. Bburago put all the modern Ferraris out there in 1:24 before any other manufacturer. With a decent quality and at a great price.
While I would love to see more 1:18 models from Bburago with the quality of their SP3, I can not make a statement that just because a company does not press my personal hot button, it is not doing a good job.
