Not many Bburago fans may be aware that the brand offers an additional series of models exclusive to overseas markets. Known as the Fine Edition—though often more casually referred to as “China Editions”—these releases are specifically produced for the Chinese market and tend to fly under the radar for collectors elsewhere.
Reportedly, the execution on these models sits a notch above the standard Signature Series, with improved finishing and attention to detail. While not a full step into premium territory, they do present a noticeable refinement that adds extra appeal for enthusiasts seeking something just a little more elevated from Bburago’s usual offerings.
A couple of standout examples from this series include the Ferrari Roma and the Ferrari Purosangue, both showcasing the subtle upgrade in presentation and overall quality that defines the line.

China can have it.. about the only noticeable improvements are in the packaging
Agreed. All we see is a lot of filler. Though we will admit, that Roma looks very good. Is it far good, good from far, maybe…
Still it’s not HWE level. And not BBR level too.
We’d be happy if Bburago “enhanced” models ever made it to HWE level.
Do these “China Edition” models represent the “Signature +” range that was announced a few years ago but never appeared on the open market ? It would make sense – now I don’t have to look out for their arrival any more!
Possibly.
Hmmm, didn’t take proper note earlier that the pictured model was a Ferrari Roma, which to my knowledge has only been released by Bburago in 1:24 scale (and possibly 1:43?). I’m waiting for my 1:18 scale Polistil “High Fidelity” Ferrari Roma to arrive …
This is more of he mess May Cheong group makes. These are clearly rebadged recent Polistil models that don’t appear any different (even less better).
Could they rather standardise models for Bburago, Maisto and Polistil to at least be full open, working suspension and full windows? I mean they do manage it on some models. Would be great if they could do it on all.
Then we can talk better hinges, nicer interiors, flocking etc. for whatever premium range they think up. But switching existing models between all the brands and cslling them extra premium signature plus exclusive… without any changes is sad.
