CMC is pleased to introduce its new Catalogue | Press Release as the company marks its 30th anniversary. Over the past three decades, CMC has built a strong reputation for producing some of the finest models in the world. The latest catalogue reflects this legacy while also signalling a renewed focus on the future, with updated assortments and thoughtful refinements. Following the closure of its U.S. office, engagement on DiecastSociety.com has naturally softened—prompting the question: where is the love, CMC!?

There´s conflicting information on what colour the blue 300 SL will actually be. CMC´s above press release describes it as “medium blue metallic, Mercedes-Benz colour number 396”, which is consistent with the picture. Their website, though, offers the same model (same article number M-283) as being “metallic blue” with the Mercedes colour code 334, which would be a light blue and non-metallic, while the picture shows a 300SL in light blue metallic. I have reached out to CMC for clarification.
Retailers, too, are confused about what tone of blue this model will be. Having reached out to CMC, they have replied that this model will be medium blue metallic as stated in above´s CMC publication. A light metallic blue one, possibly Juan Manuel Fangio´s 300 SL https://www.car-editors.org/artikel/detail/58590 might be added at a later time. Anyone, who´d want that?
It’s definitely the metallic blue.
I wasn’t planning on ordering one. But now that I see the pictures, it’s very tempting!
I don’t understand why CMC has chosen the Ferrari 375 !!
I already own 2 BBR versions and they are amazing, close to CMC
models in terms if quality. There are so many other iconic sport cars !!
