Classic Model Cars (CMC) is ready to release a couple of gems, if you’re a fan of the brand you most likely already aware. The latest official assortment of photos highlight their exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship on two classics, the 1:18 Auto-Union C-Type – Winner #18, from the Eifel Race in 1936, driven by the “Fog Master”, Bernd Rosemeyer and the 1:18 scale is the Auto-Union C-Type #111, driven by Hans Stuck, during the 13th Schauinsland Hill Climb in August 1937. Both pieces are constructed with more than 1000 hand-mounted parts. Both are limited to 1500 pieces.
Product# M-161 / M-162
The M-162 is 1/18 or not ?
yep, they’re both 1:18
The description say 1/12 scale
I have one of the original Rosemeyer cars by CMC. In addition to being one of the more beautiful models you can get, it is also one of the heaviest models I’ve ever felt! So solid!
These models are beautiful, I give it 4.9/5.0. There’s just one thing that prevents it from the perfect score – the front control arms. CMC skimped here with those ugly screws. They nailed it on their 1:12 model though, but can’t pay 10x the price for just that detail.
