The team at Cult Scale Models has introduced a massive list of new material. A total of 26 new models and new colours of past favorites are on schedule for release. When we have confirmation of release dates, they will be noted below in bold. Soooo many new pieces, it was tough to decide on the feature, and in the end it went to the slick and sinister looking Jaguar XK150 -S- OTS Roadster in Dark Green. Other notable mentions go to the cool looking Volvo 262C Bertone and Aston Martin Zagato Coupe. Please note all models featured here are scaled in 1:18 and are manufactured with high quality resin material. Enjoy!

Quite an ambitious list, and why duplicate the 2013 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante that Tecnomodels has already produced so well? I hope Cult corrects the mistakes on some of these others before production.
Aston Martin V8 Volante is missing the headrests. They were standard equipment on all cars Euro and US spec. (Only a few cars had them removed.)
Aston Martin Virage wheels are very wrong.
Aston Martin DB5 Shooting brake front body/nose, grill, head light areas are not accurately shaped. I’m sure they will not fix any of this.
Austin Healey 100S windscreen is too high.
Mirrors are too large on some of the assorted models.
And….unfortunately they have also gone the cheap route with window trim….just like GT Spirit. The flat dull silver printed on plastic windows looks terrible. It does not look like chrome window trim; a poor and cheap looking substitute.
I guess I’m just a little tired of seeing models that have obvious flaws, and are clearly being cranked out to meet a certain price point.
These are all prototypes and subject to improvements, but they give a good view of what to expect. We know collectors are critical, so are we. We just want the best to be made. Wait and see.

Yes, there is some work to be done on most of them; a bit pointless to sum it up. I personally love the Rover 3500. Boy have I been waiting for that one! But tell me, Jaap: why the Britsh racing green so many times? The Lagonda (another one of my favourites) looked just, well, awful…
Excellent choice of subjects. Pity they’re resin, or I’d be sorely tempted to get that Alfa 6C.
An XK150 is very welcome but the FHC would be even better!
That Zagato is amazing!
I am so sad that die cast collectors like myself are going to dry-up as the hobby slowly shifts to resin. I collect classic Le Mans, Grand Prix and Formula 1 cars and the choices are nearly gone now. The end of an era is here. Good luck to this company ad it’s beautiful resin models. Had that Toyota cruiser been metal, I would have bought one along with several others in this line. Nice work, I am sure they will all be huge sellers.
As a long time collector of 1/18 scale model Jaguars, I’m quite pleased to see this extensive list of upcoming models. The XK150 has been overlooked for way too long so its great to see Cult Scale Models replicating it. Even if its in OTS form and not the preferred coupe. Maybe they will do a coupe version down the track? (Jaap, what do you think?). I think it looks pretty good in BRG and the colour matched wires + knock on’s look great. As for the other Jag models I agree with previous comments that the wing mirrors look a bit big. This also applies to the leaper mascot on the light green Mk 1 and the gold S type. They look a bit oversized to me. Otherwise they all look pretty close to the mark. The series 2 E type in “Jaguar Dark Blue” looks great. Thats one of my favourite old Jag colours. It would be nice if they added the chrome strips to the underside of the respective door window sills too. I’d also like to see a number plate sticker on the bonnet in lieu of the plate across the open mouth of the clam shell bonnet. This really impacts the most striking feature of the E type Jaguar IMO. Thank you Cult Scale Models for being so ambitious in recreating these less obvious Jaguar models. I’ll be very interested to see how they turn out after the final improvements are made.
Cheers!!
