I haven’t seen a real Subaru SVX yet. I don’t know if there is even an actual SVX in my country. I first saw this car in a magazine decades ago and it was in the 2-tone claret and black color scheme. I thought that was such a beautiful color combination that suits the car very well. When DNA announced it would make a 1:18 version, I thought it would look great in this claret-black color combo. Nothing wrong with the white color. It’s just that many model cars are done in this shade already. A more unique/rare color can certainly spice up a collector’s display. I know colors are a personal thing, and I believe that it is to be treated as ‘to each his own’. Maybe DNA will also make another version of the same car with the claret-black color?
