Do you know Donkervoort? Fans of Donkervoort, a Dutch-based car manufacturer can now enjoy their new D8 GTO-40 in scale, 1:18 scale that is. By mid-December, the shelves should be stocked and ready to ship. The exterior colour is noted as Calypso Blue. The body is fabricated resin along with plastic bits, and from the looks of things, it may be a sealed body design. The interior detail is quite good, especially the dash elements. Price, 159.95 Euros.

As usual by Spark, it will be made from resin, not diecast, and will remain sealed. The way the doors open would probably be impossible to replicate anyway.
Later on a white and carbon version is scheduled.
We’ve reached out to them for clarification, as therir website stated “metal”.
Model is in fact resin, confirmed from the source:
“Thanks for pointing this out. The model is indeed made out of resin – it has been changed on our website.”
So? Metal? By Spark??? Since when? Other websites state the material as resin at exactly the same price in the same colour. Metal seems very unlikely
