The team at AUTOart released images of the complete Porsche 993 Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB) assortment. Five delicious colours are expected street side in Q1 2017. I’m usually a fan of Blue, though nice, the Matt Black with Gold Wheels is clearly the winner. White with Gun Grey wheels is definitely a close second. What’s with the names on the sides?
each customer car has a different “name”
glad that i did not buy the gt spirit version. patience is really crucial in diecast collection. for the mercedes 6×6, i also opted for the autoart version. although it’s made of composite, it has much better details and functional suspension. gt spirit really cannot make it.
All of the cars are ruined by the lack of attention to detail. They butchered every single car.
Spearmint Rhino – Is a RWB wingless 993 Cabriolet
Natty Dread – Has different mirrors, wing, front splitters as well as decals on the hood. The recent version of the car has more gold on it and the wheels are now finished with a gold lip.
Blue One – Again has a small wing, decals on the side arches, blacked out front markers and no front sticker in the middle of the lip
Rough Rhythm – Has black wheels with black lips and different lip. The updated version has two splitters, and silver work wheels.
Naginata – The closest of the ones Autoart is producing but in reality has clear markers and not tinted ones
Overall if AutoArt is using the names they should at least get the cars correct for the most part. Getting the wrong wing and even the wrong body style is not acceptable in any way especially at the price point that they are at…
Frankly it was expected that AA would do a generic car and change the colors/decals for each version. They are not much better that GTS in this respect.
I feel your pain, but I’d side with AUTOart on this one. The subtle nuances with each would be costly to produce in scale. Where they did miss large is not making the model fully opening!

the blue one has an RS America wing, that im trying to make on my resin 993 RWB kit.
