Man, an SLR McLaren 722 Edition is at the very top of my list, even dropped the request with GT Spirit about a year ago. This MSO Edition here has to be one of the ugliest SLRs I’ve seen, so I’ll still be sticking to the Maisto one. Disappointing, but it’s great to see the licensing issues keeping it out of most new video games may not be a big problem for scale models.

I also contacted them regarding the 722. It’s a car I can’t believe hasn’t been made in 1:18 scale yet, even if it was a budget brand. To be honest, this MSO kinda ups my hopes for a proper 722.

It also seems like the licensing issues are getting better overall. Gran Turismo Sport, The Crew 2 and NFS: No Limits all featured the SLR in recent years.

Glad to know I’m not the only one, I wonder how many requested the MSO! I didn’t know about the NFS No Limits update. Sound good, but confusing because the SLR was removed for Hot Pursuit remastered which came out later. It is also still missing from the Forza Horizon 5 Mercedes list.

Didn’t GT Spirit make the 722? I thought they did though I could be mistaken

If you’re interested in resin, then look no further than the Sophiart one. Looks very high end without the high end price tag.

Something looks off about that one to me, especially the front end and the rear quarter windows. At a distance (which is where I see it from every day) I actually prefer the Maisto one. Only the over-slanted front emblem bothers me.
