Top Marques is back with another classic design from the masters at Maserati, the 1:18 Merak, which will be launched in early 2016. Two colours will be offered – blue, as featured, and Red. Model execution looks decent for the most part, BUT, once again, we see the primitive and lifeless chrome work around the exterior windows.
I’m not sure why this type of chrome finish is suddenly qualified as primitive. This technique is now used on all high-end models from Minichamps, BBR, GTS etc. It may not look like an exact replication but it does not look bad at all.
Hi, you are entitled to your opinions, and so are we. It’s the lazy or should I same cost saving way around it.
I think it looks terrible. Two-dimensional and undeserving of the price
