Corvette fans, TopSpeed has just unveiled their version of the 1:18 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. For those not in the know, TopSpeed executes in resin with a sealed body design. From what we can tell from the single images, two colours Red and Black are likely in the mix, though we cannot 100% say how the grilles are fabricated here, solid or perforated, the latter is preferred, it seems solid is the theme. Note both examples are prototype and not yet final.

If Topspeed would listen to the overwhelming feedback regarding their solid grilles being the reason so many people avoid their products, they’d be a viable option for many collectors. The solid grilles just ruin what are otherwise quite good models. Surely it’s not something that would be hard for them to address.
Your portrayal of the air intake by the door is wrong. The carbon flash door handle and air intake wrap around the intake. Any true Vette expert will know this. I recommend that you take a look at it.
