Five Minutes with MotorHelix…

Earlier this week, we had an engaging conversation with MotoHelix, and it seems our review of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA made quite an impression. They were particularly pleased with the strong response the model has garnered in the North American market. True to their brand, MotoHelix was humble in their reception, acknowledging that while the Giulia GTA model, accessories, and overall value are exceptional, there’s always room for improvement.

MotoHelix has been transparent about a few minor imperfections in the model. They noted a slight issue with the paddle shifters and mentioned that some models have taken on an overly aggressive camber stance. However, they assured us these issues would be resolved in any future releases of new colours or variants. On that exciting note, we can reveal that MotoHelix is planning to release the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm – the absolute pinnacle of the Giulia lineup!

During our conversation, we also emphasized the potential for MotoHelix to expand its portfolio with more European and supercar-related models. While the company is eager to grow in this direction, they did mention one significant challenge: licensing. As a relatively young company based in China, MotoHelix has encountered some reluctance from certain automotive marques when it comes to granting licenses. However, we’re hopeful that sharing our rave reviews of their Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA will help open doors! LOL!!  And for American car enthusiasts, there’s more good news: MotoHelix has plans to enter the American car market, although details on those models remain under wraps for now.

All in all, this is fantastic news for collectors who value precision craftsmanship and great value. MotoHelix is committed to addressing customer feedback and expanding its offerings, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with next. Rest assured, we’ll have more models – and possibly a few scale motors – to review in the future. Stay tuned, and happy collecting, everyone!

Thanks for sharing. The GTAm is no surprise with packaging already bearing its name too, as mentioned in the review. Improvement on future production of the GTA is good news … for those not having bought yet. Those who have will see their model depreciate.

We need a fully opening good Alfa Romeo 8C! Red, yellow, black, light blue and rosso vinaccia! One of the prettiest 2000-supercars!

  3. Vitaliy D says:

It is so nice and so appreciated when the companies do listen to collectors!

  4. Scenic's View says:

I’ve been waiting for McLaren SLR ever since they announced their plans to make it.
Since they already have the Alfa licence, won’t it be nice to have a 33 Stradale both new and old & 8C Competizione?

  5. Wes says:

That’s nice and all but I hope japanese cars remain their focus! I’m all for variety though. Bought the Alfa in 2 colours and would love to get a GTAm in that dark grey they showed a sample of.

  6. Scott says:

This is great news! I’m not really a supercar fan, but I’d love to see a Jaguar XJ220. So glad to hear they’re expanding their offerings!

  7. HENRY CHEN says:

If Motorhelix can do the 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB Zagato in 1:18, that would be great.

  8. Jelle says:

Looking forward to displaying a Giulia some time soon.
I love that Motorhelix did a Jaguar XJ X351 (although I don’t have that one (yet)), although sealed. An opening version would be absolutely fantastic!
