Founded by Alexander Hoch, a former stone sculptor turned automotive designer, and co-managed by his partner, Natalie Hoch, the brand takes a bold stance against conventional wall décor and the oversaturated world of car models and photographs. Each Advanced Canvas piece functions as a “living sculpture” – a fusion of art, design, and technical precision. The sculptures are meticulously shaped from lightweight concrete reinforced with steel, ensuring extreme longevity and durability. Even the smallest elements, such as door handles or mirrors, feature carbon fibre cores to withstand the test of time. Designed in two sizes, 36” and 17” – their creations are built to make an impactful statement in any space, while the adjustable mounting system ensures seamless installation and display flexibility. Sustainability and craftsmanship sit at the heart of the process, with the final product reflecting both aesthetic sophistication and meaningful permanence.

During our visit to Advanced Canvas, we selected a 17-inch example (pictured here, Porsche 964 Turbo, Blue/Light Grey), which perfectly illustrates the brand’s ability to combine size, presence, and intricate detail in a compact, gallery-ready form.

Alexander’s unique background fuels the brand’s innovative spirit. Beginning his career as a stone carver and later studying automotive design in Pforzheim, he gained professional experience in prestigious studios, including Porsche Weissach, Audi California, and BMW Munich. His idea for Advanced Canvas took shape in 2018, when he established his own workshop to execute a concept that blends the sculptural authenticity of his early craft with his deep-rooted automotive expertise.
