GT Spirit August and September 2019 Footprint

We have some newness to share from GT Spirit for August and September 2019.  The team is releasing some cool stuff in 1:18, 1:12, and 1:8 scale!  The Ferrari marque is on tap and also more Porsches too!   We’ve seen some photos, they do look promising, though not good enough quality to share with the masses.  Sorry.  More on the topic in due time.  All models presented here are 1:18 scale unless otherwise stated.

Top Marques has also recently announced the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta in 1:12, and shown their gray prototype. I’m sure there’s will be more detailed than GT Spirit…. and probably an overall better model.

Sorry, there are way too many complaints about TM and final results. Plus their pricing will be almost double. Time will tell who the victor will be .

Yeap, like DS Team said there are a lot of complains. I have several complains, and I do not want more TopMarques in my collection, they do not have any quality for the price. Otto models are much better, for exemple.

For sure that GT Spirit it will be a lot better (and cheaper) then TopMarques, hope see one side by side review.

Oh yes, I agree, way too many problems with Top Marques, but…..their models are much more detailed than GT Spirit. Also they seem to do a better job with some of the much later cars like the F355. GT Spirit has screwed up most of their 1:12 scale vintage cars (Ferrari, Jaguar & Lamborghini), so I doubt their F355 will be too good. That said, I won’t be buying this from either company.

And I’m looking at this from my view as a professional model maker and high end model car manufacturer, who also collects.

        • DS Team says:

With your standards, we would own little lol.

        • Miguel Oliveira says:

TopMarques can have more details, but….if those details are badly done..

For exemple (my exemple), Delta Integrale Dirty edition: in a 200€ resin model, it’s not admissible have a plastic/vinil seatbelts glued in the seats; or do not have a B pillar, just those thin cheap vinil windows painted inside in black; or the the rear spoiler and top scoop glued missaligned; or the dirt simulation in a very bright brown; or, this is the worse, the model in the roof be totaly deformed (same happen in LS, the “cast” it’s the same), like a bubble but deformed to one side.

          It’s just my opinion. :-)
