We continue with the 2016 Catalogue series with the Hot Wheels and Elite brand 2015-2016 assortment. We do miss their Ferrari line, and it seems the brand is carrying on, primarily focusing on movie and television. The biggest announcement for 2016, well for us at least, is the Aston Martin DB10 in 1:18 scale, as featured in the movie Spectre. And if you saw the movie, the car was the best part. The Aston Martin DB10 is promised to be “expertly crafted” with “special features”. Let’s hope it’s much better than the 1970 Dodge Charger we reviewed and the “special” features aren’t toy-like and executed with class as the car deserves. Enjoy!

Not much there.
Wow… Hotwheels sold peeps their Elite flying Delorean last year that surprisingly couldn’t convert into flying mode. I even considered breaking open my Sunstar version (with flip-down wheels) and retrofitting the base into my HWE version.
We can only dream that they’d openly welcome owners to exchange for this new release with the flip-down wheels. I honestly feel shafted.
Good to hear news about HWE again.I hope there will be at least a machine gun behind the DB10’s rear Aston Martin mark.
It’s a shame that they are not doing a 1/18 model of the villain car from SPECTRE the Jaguar C-X75.
The models in the catalog are more than a shame :( HW is definitely out! This is a company for children and is for collectors!
Looking forward to the DB10, although those movie cars also look nice!
Like my parents taught me….if you can’t say anything nice…………you know the rest
