News from the Ivy Model camp is a new replica of the classic race car, the Mercedes CLK GTR! Four versions will be offered in authentic livery. For those not in the know, these are resin and sealed.

Well, the CLK-GTR did not run at Le Mans in 1997. The shown models here with #2 and #35 have 1998 decals (#2 bye bye Ludwig Laguna Seca 1998, #35 24h Le Mans 1998), but the wrong body. Both had the 1998 CLK-LM body.
This errors made here are horrendous. GTR for Le Mans, wrong mirror colors etc
I mean, a non-opening “LM 1997” Mercedes CLK GTR for $400 with the colors from a CLK LM of the following year… that’s still a pretty serious collector’s item =D !
