Make Up New September/October Releases

Make Up continues to impress.  Some lovely examples in 1:43 and 1:18 scale are just around the corner.  We’ll start with 1:43.  First, we have the Lamborghini Diablo SE30 Jota PO.02 1995.  Four colours will be offered, each is detailed below.  Second, for tuner cr lovers comes PandemGR Supra Ver.1 2019.  Here five colours are scheduled for release, again each is detailed below.  Both will be on sale in October 2020.

From their 1:18 scale series comes a gorgeous and rare colour for the Lamborghini Huracan Perfomante Ad Personam Pebble Beach 2017, Metallic Green.  The colour works well with the various exterior composite bits.  This one is scheduled for release come September with retail about $660 CND.

Honestly, looks like the Lambo will be falling apart if you sneeze. I will take the AUTOart, thanks.

I don’t get your remark. What makes you say that? Make Up makes beautiful models, 1/43 and 1/18 scale. The workmanship is superb, paint, detail, etc. I agree that having the AUTOart model with full access is great, but if you are looking for a superior static model for display only it’s hard to beat Make Up. I own models from both AUTOart and Make Up and you really can’t compare the two. AUTOart makes some beautiful full access models, but Make Up makes true hand made, low production high quality models.

This comment is relative to the 1:43 Jota.
1:43 models close-ups shows all the defects and accentuates them, wether the model quality in real life is acceptable.
AUTOart will make the Jota in 1:18, with full access… We cannot compare the two models as they’re on a different scale.
Though I recon the 1:43 Jota from Make-up will be almost at the same price point as the 1:18 Jota from AUTOart ><'

Driver’s door mirror looks very loosely attached, so do all the grilles in the back, with uneven gaps, lower front lights etc same. Front lights all look plainly silver painted, like mirrors. Front and rear bumpers look loosely attached with their yellowing recess. Rear wing shows gaps and mounting tongue by which it is stuck on. It all looks as if only temporarily test assembled, and I hope for everyone seriously interested in buying, it is not the completed product. I wouldn’t buy it.

Let us add, these are pre-production painted samples. In our opinion we need to agree with the other comment, these are premium scale representations.
