Minichamps is dusting off an old mould with their newest release, the 1:18 Porsche 906K, drivers Vogelle and Siffert – 12h Sebring 1966. A limited production of 300 pieces. Overall the model isn’t too shabby, I have the presentation release of the 906 Carrera 6 in my personal collection. Other new models by scale include:

The Porsche is a nice, albeit basic model. I have the ’67 Sebring car, Squadra Tartaruga long-tail. It does look nice in red, long or short-tail!
I’d rather have a 907. The Elford / Maglioli Targa Florio winner would be a good choice. Probably has some common parts.
I have three of their 906s. It’s a good model. but you can beat a mold to death.
I don’t think they have much interest in ’60s race cars and only made this because they already had the mold.
