The CMC M-253 model represents the iconic Ferrari 250 GTO with chassis number 3757, famously driven by “Beurlys” and “Elde” to a remarkable 3rd place overall and 2nd place in the GT class at the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans. In our Authentic Series, we meticulously recreate this legendary vehicle, producing just 12 exclusive models that reflect how the Ferrari might have looked as it crossed the finish line in 1962.

Our model faithfully replicates the original’s silver-coloured painted rims, complete with authentic details such as brake dust and road dirt that accumulated on the rims and tires during the gruelling race. The front and wind deflector are darkened by the numerous insects encountered at high speeds, with similar markings on the rear spoiler. Light streaks on the body mimic the effects of the windshield washer system, adding to the model’s realism. During the hectic pit stops, some petrol inevitably spilled onto the lid of the case, a detail we have included to enhance authenticity. Notably, the Ferrari had a protective sheet metal over the left exhaust pipes, preventing more serious damage, a feature accurately represented in our model.

Each model is presented in a high-quality display case, complete with a plaque and certificate, underscoring its status as a limited-edition collectible. This set of twelve models captures the exhilarating racing atmosphere of Le Mans 1962, making it a must-have for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
