A slew of new models is scheduled to arrive from Cult Scale Models. Over October through into November, the team will release a total of eight new models, all in 1:18 scale. The feature finds the Aston Martin DB6 in Gold based on the 1964 car. A second colour in Maroon will be made available too. A complete list is shared below.

Jaguar XJ-R, Blue Metallic 1990
Jaguar XJ-R, Orange Metallic 1990
Product# CML041-1 / CML041-2 / CML046-2 / CML046-3 / CML087-1 / CML087-2 / CML087-3 / CML092-1 / CML092-2
That last Jaguar should be XJR-15, not XJ-R. It’s such a relief that someone’s finally made that!
I also like the look of the Aston DB6. It’s a controversial opinion, with the DB5 being more famous thanks to its James Bond connection, but I always thought the DB6 was a better looking car. The Kamm tail on the DB6 looks far cleaner and more elegant than the pudgy rear end of the DB5.
On the other hand, some of us prefer the (comparatively) shorter tale, believing that the DB6 looks unbalanced and butt-heavy. To each his own!
DB6 the Rockstars choice. Mick Jagger & Paul McCartney (popstar in this case) to name a few.
If they can make AM’s and if they can make models of rare cars like the XJR-15 and the AM Zagato, then they should be able to make an Aston Martin Bulldog. I so want one of those!
BTW – the XJR-15 will also come in all black:

Correction: it’s not black, but very dark blue metallic
Will Top Marques also make one? I thought this was a rumour
Looking at pictures of this 1:18 Jaguar XJR-15 in the internet, I am not convinced that this 1:18 model is better than 1:43 Spark!
