New AUTOart Releases

Fresh off the press comes a slew of new models and new colours.  The feature position is held by a rare diecast metal release from their Signature series, the 1:18 Nissan Skyline RS Turbo Super Silhouette.  This model is based on the 1982 platform and provides a 360 perspective and much detail.  We love that the wheel caps are engaged too!  If interested in this one, suggested retail is about $364CND with a street date of February 2019.

Other new models, or should we say colours are the 1:18 Lexus LC 500 in  Sonic Titanium/Dark Rose Interior, the 1:18 Mercedes-AMG G63 AMG 50th Anniversary Edition in Designo Mauritius Blue and finally Aston Martin Vanquish S 2017 in Kopi Bronze/Speed Yellow livery.  That colour on 50th anniversary G63 is priceless!

I love the color combos AA is bringing to the market on those Astons. The killer is those butt ugly wheels. A deal breaker for me. Ruins every model.

    • Robert Poudrette says:

I don’t see those wheels the same as you do, I think they look great! I know, it’s a matter of taste… But the cars look very good. You could always get away with the all black one…

I’ve had the Skyline RS Turbo Super Silhouette on my eBay watch list for over 5 years! I’ll never have to see those 2 guys asking $1200 for it on eBay and Amazon again.

    • Bob Ashton says:

I’m the same, had the chance to buy when it came out and didn’t. The only ones on Ebay are soooo expensive, Those sellers prices are about to crash after this new one is released

This is a slightly different version of the car, with the earlier 1982 style front end. The first version introduced by Autoart was the ‘facelifted iron mask’ type.

Good call. Never noticed that and didn’t know enough to know there were two different front ends. While I do like first release ’83’s front clip better along with its 5 win history vs the ’82’s 2 win, it’s close enough to not hold out for a once in a blue moon auction on eBay. I’m hoping AutoArt keeps the price reasonable.
