I just bought this same 500 SL by Norev in a limited red edition and uploaded pics to my website. Just click my name above to take you right there. Want a review of it?
That LE colour is special. We definitely want a review! TIA!!
Do wish the 500 SL come with removable hardtop, or in coupe form with side window rolls up
Not 100% sure, but the answer is no to both questions.
I miss the Autoart release, the Norev looks promising. Just like the Coupe form better. But there will be a first time for everything I guess…
Hi, can you please tell us where you bought the red SL from and if it is only a dealer edition?
Yes, sure. It´s definitely not a dealer edition as it came in a normal Norev box, not a Mercedes box. I first only found it on ebay from a Polish seller. Now for the mysterious bit: The grey one is Norev product #183715, the red one says #183716 on the box. With the product# I can still only trace it to Polish, Czech and Russian retailers outside ebay. I have no idea why they have it on their shelves in bigger numbers and ready for sale while Norev only announce the grey one, not mentioning the red one at all ?!?
Thank you for the detailed information! This is definitely a strange one and I hope that we will know more about the global release soon.
