Norev has brought another online exclusive colour for their 1:18 metal and opening Porsche 911 GT3 RS w/Weissach pack 2022, this is Ultraviolet exterior. This model is limited to only 300 units, pricing is well north of 100 euros too. Not the true budget-friendly piece we’re accustomed to with Norev.

Norev makes nice stuff, but I certainly wouldn’t call them “budget friendly” at this point in time. I would consider them “moderately priced”, unlike ACTUAL budget friendly brands like Maisto, Bburago, and Solido.

Yes, I did. I”m not sure what you are specifically referring to. To clarify, I’m merely saying that, in general, I wouldn’t consider the Norev brand to be exactly budget-friendly at this point (not referring to this particular model).
This is where we differ opinion. Their true hobby stuff is excellent value. Now, the limited edition online exclusives are definitely pushing the budget-friendly label.
How is a model which is significantly better than the Minichamps in every aspect but only costs half the price not “excellent value”? Norev’s aim obviously is not to be cheap, but to offer a very good value for money. And there is not a single other manufacturer who comes close to Norev in that regard.
